Monitoring
Balance alerts,
before it's a problem.
Watch any token card and get an email, Slack or Telegram message when its balance goes below or above the amount you set. For a hot wallet running low, a fee account that needs topping up, or a cold wallet that should never move.
When it fires
Once when it crosses. Not every check after.
A fee wallet drops below 2 ETH, stays there for a while, is topped up, then drops again. A one-time alert tells you once and completes. A recurring one tells you each time the balance crosses, never while it sits below.
- One-time
- Notifies once, then completes. Resume it to watch again.
- Recurring
- Stays quiet while the balance is below. Once it recovers, the alert resets.
Where it goes
The inbox, the channel or the chat your team already reads.
Channels belong to the entity, so one Slack channel can serve every alert. Each alert sends to as many channels as you pick, and every delivery is logged as sent or failed.

Below 2 ETH
Past the threshold on this check, so it notifies every channel on the alert.

Capabilities
One rule for every balance that matters.
Below or above
Set the threshold in the token's own units, not its price, so a market move never sets it off.
Email, Slack or Telegram
A teammate's inbox, a Slack channel through an incoming webhook, or a Telegram chat through the SimplyLedger bot. One alert can send to several.
One-time or recurring
One-time notifies once and stops. Recurring notifies each time the balance crosses, then waits for it to move back before it can fire again.
Start from the token card
Create an alert straight from a token card's page, which shows how many alerts already watch it.
A history of every message
Each notification is logged with its time, the balance, the channel and whether it was sent or failed, with the reason.
Pause without losing it
Pause or resume alerts one by one or in bulk, and edit the threshold, repeat and channels at any time.
Workflow
From token card to a message in Slack.
- Step 01
Add a channel
Connect an email recipient, a Slack incoming webhook or a Telegram chat under Portfolio → Notifications.
- Step 02
Pick a token card
Search by token, wallet or reference, or start from the card itself. Its current balance shows as you pick it.
- Step 03
Set the condition
Below or above, the threshold in token units, one-time or recurring, and the channels to notify.
- Step 04
Get told
When the balance crosses, every channel on the alert gets a message, and the alert's history records it.
FAQ
Common
questions.
Quick answers about how SimplyLedger fits your stack. Need something more specific?
Talk to usWhich balances can be watched?
Any active token card whose balance SimplyLedger fetches: on-chain wallets, exchanges and custodians. Balances entered by hand never trigger an alert.
Is the threshold in tokens or in currency?
In the token's own units. An alert below 2 ETH fires when the card holds less than 2 ETH, whatever ETH is worth.
Will a recurring alert keep messaging while a wallet stays low?
No. It notifies once when the balance crosses, then only again after the balance has moved back and crossed a second time.
Who can set alerts?
Owners, admins and users can set and change alerts. Viewers can see them but not change them, and guests can't open the page.
Does it cost extra?
No. Balance alerts are part of portfolio mode, which is free, and every accounting plan.
